Lead a Small Group

Thank you for your interest in leading a small group! Small groups are a vital part of our church's mission to foster community and spiritual growth.

Every small group is unique, and a group that one person does not enjoy may be exactly what someone else needs! Every sort of leader is valuable and brings unique skills, abilities, and God-given gifts to their role. God will continue to equip you for this opportunity to lead others as you lean on Him and rely on His wisdom and strength.

After you have taken some time to pray and seek God about the group He's asking you to lead, please complete this form to begin the process of becoming a small group leader. It will probably take 10-15 minutes.

If you are still unsure of the details for your group, or have additional questions, please reach out, and we can walk you through it.

GROUP SPECIFICS

Provide as much information as you have about your new group.

It's helpful to have a co-leader who can continue leading the group if you are sick, on vacation, or simply to help bear the load of leading.
You can always add co-leaders later on.

Through the church, you have access to RightNow Media, an online library full of video bible studies.

You are free to choose your topics of study. We ask that your studies align with the beliefs and values of Willmar AG. If you are questioning a study or need some help selecting a certain topic, please contact the church for help in discerning Biblical content.

We would like for Fall 2025 groups to begin September 7-21 and go for at least 6 weeks. Many groups take a break from weekly meetings over the holidays and resume in January.

This will be posted for groups who are accepting new members so they can have a snapshot of what the group is like. If you need help with the description, let Pastor Annika know.

One of the group leaders' responsibilities will be to take attendance of your group. You will receive automatic reminders for this, and attendance can be easily taken in the Church Center app.

You can also add participants, manage your meeting dates, send messages to the groups, and more!

Visit willmarag.churchcenter.com/setup to get set up with the Church Center App.
